As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
Proverbs 27:17
The SRBC Young Adult Group (ages 18-33) exists to see college students and young adults become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through weekly Bible study meetings, fellowships, and missions opportunities.
Weekly Meetings
Thursday 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Off-Campus
On Thursdays, we meet off site (contact Pastor Joey for more details). We meet at 6:30 PM for dinner, then at 7:30 PM we fellowship, study God's Word, and pray together until 9:30 PM.
Sunday 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM
Room 201
On Sundays, at 9:30 AM, we meet behind the sanctuary stage in Room 201 (go through the door on the left side of the stage labeled "Classrooms," go up the stairs on the left, and it is the first door on the right).
First Friday of Every Month
On the First Friday evening of the month, we always plan a fun event for us to do as a group. It could be bowling, going for a hike, karaoke--whatever! Click the button below to see the Young Adult Calendar!
College is a very formative time in a person's life. Often, students make decisions in college that affect the overall trajectory of their lives. While technology has certainly helped this, many students make these decisions away from their homes and families. This leaves the church with a great opportunity to come alongside these students and love on them, pointing them to Jesus! One way SRBC accomplishes this is through our Student Adoption Program (SAP).
We want our people to be able to provide a "home away from home" for students that desire just that. While students are on their own for possibly the very first time, you can be there to encourage or simply for a home-cooked meal!
